Peter Prevot has been at the forefront of the cannabis and alternative medicine industries since 2012. With a background in regulatory analysis, corporate governance, and financial compliance, Peter has played a pivotal role in shaping policy and industry standards at both the state and national levels.

His career began with a focus on the complex tax and banking regulations surrounding legal cannabis in the U.S. Then, in 2018, he merged his consulting practice with Bridge West Consulting, a Colorado-based firm serving clients nationwide. Peter has also held leadership positions with the Louisiana Cannabis Association, Pointe Coupee Enrichment Fund, Upbeat Academy Foundation, and the Veterans Alliance for Holistic Alternatives.

As the Founder and Executive Director of LATA, the Marijuana Pharmacy Association, and the Southeast Cannabis Policy Political Action Committee, Peter continues to advocate for the responsible expansion of alternative therapies. He also serves on the National Cannabis Industry Association’s State Regulations Committee and has extensive experience in federal and state-level grant and contract procurement through his work with Tulane University Medical School’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science.
